Making the 2010 JMKit Calendar

Here’s the romantic scene for Feburary, daww ^_^

And so, on to Frebuary and of course since this is the month in which Valentines Day is celebrated, Jinx decides to make the effort here with his Minx

Here is the January models and scenery all together for the first time!

The January models are really coming on now, and it’ll soon be time to move onto the set and make the props, checkout the progression so far!

Well, it would seem to make sense to start with January, right?

So my idea for this months scene was fairly strait-forward, a Jinx and Minx new years party!

 Included in this scene are Jinx, Minx and 3 characters which haven’t been sculpted until now.. 2 cats, Pepper and Pixie, and a puppy named Bagel, below are the early stages of the models coming together.

The 2010 JMKit Calender is a joint project between myself (of JMKit.com) and HasaniWalker (hasani-studios.com) combining our talents to produce a calender featuring photos of 3d scenes we have created using the cute and colorful characters of JMKit (see them here)

It started off with a sketch I sent to HasaniWalker via deviantArt to see if he could re-create the main bunny Jinx into a 3D master piece, and he didn’t disappoint!

After that he suggested this cool idea for a calender, and here we are!
